A small-scale local craft beer brewery. We produce beer that makes the most of local ingredients sourced from Shiga Prefecture. We specialize in brewing with fruit and have a reputation for an exquisite sense of balance that doesn’t let the fruit overpower the beer. Our most popular beer is the “Kouji Ale,” made using malted rice (koji). At the beer terrace attached to the brewery, you can enjoy light snacks such as “beer battered chicken” along with freshly crafted beer.

Our farmers’ market handles a wide variety of locally made agricultural produce and processed goods, and our retail stores sell a vast assortment of Shiga and Kyoto Prefecture specialty products as well.
