Established in 1897, we are a distinguished Omi beef restaurant. We devote ourselves to bringing out the inherent flavors of our carefully selected and locally-raised Omi beef for our customers to savor.

Central

We sell “Genji Monogatari Toraysee,” which are printed with Murasaki Shikibu’s portraits that are owned by Ishiyamadera Temple, the birthplace of “The Tale of Genji.”

Southern

In the nearby Seta River is an ancient mount of shijimi clams, which suggests that they have been a special product of this area since long ago. At restaurants and other places in the Ishiyama area, shijimi clam rice is well known.

Named after the mineral water of Mt. Osaka, one of the three famous mineral water springs of the Edo period’s Tokaido, our store has produced “Meisui Mochi” for many years. Please come by and give it a try!

Teradaya is a chicken restaurant that does everything from poultry farming to direct sales. Here you can also enjoy “Omi Shamo” (Omi game fowl), which has a rich and firm taste.
