Shigatakara’s products are made from carefully selected ingredients from and are produced in Shiga Prefecture. Our Lake Biwa Shrimp Senbei uses only special Shiga ingredients to be a crispy cracker. Our products have even won the Honorary Governor’s Award at the 26th National Confectionary Exhibition.

Lameristore is located near the lakeside of Lake Biwa. Here we serve curry and chicken and rice made with homemade spices, as well as minced pork rice, handmade desserts and specialty coffee. We gather freshwater fish from the west side of Lake Biwa to prepare our “ameni” dishes (a specialized boiling process) and “funazushi” (fermented sushi). We also offer pickled vegetables. Please come and try our homemade flavors that have become renowned through the country.
