Highlights & Introduction

The thatched roof (kayabuki) is a product of ancient wisdom, designed to endure the changing seasons with ease. As these traditional houses decline year by year, those remaining have become increasingly rare. Currently, this house is preserved through the cooperation of the local community and is open to the public, featuring a display of mingu (folk artifacts).
