Omi Jingu Shrine is featured in an episode where Naruse came to pick up acorns on the Keihan Railway when she was in kindergarten. Every summer, the "National High School Competitive Karuta Championship" (the Koshien of Karuta) is held here, where high school representatives who won their prefectural qualifiers compete to be the best in Japan. The novel also depicts Naruse, a member of a high school karuta club, competing in the qualifiers.
A special summer illumination will be held at Omi Jingu Shrine for a limited time in 2026.

In the novel "Naruse wa Tenka o Tori ni Iku" (written by Miyaura Mina) set in Otsu City, there is a scene where the protagonist Akari Naruse eats the "Omi Beef Croquette Set Meal" at Umi-no-Eki Hamaotsu. Why not try it yourself and feel like Naruse?

In the pedestrian walkway of JR Zeze Station, which Naruse frequently uses, there is a "Welcome" sign featuring characters from the story.
Also, near the ticket gates of Keihan Railway "Keihan Zeze" Station, there is a manhole cover designed with Akari Naruse! This is a must-visit spot for Naruse fans!

Head toward Lake Biwa through the shopping district area, which features the elementary school Naruse attended, as well as parks, bakeries, and convenience stores.
A Naruse sign is installed halfway down Tokimeki-zaka Slope, making you feel as if you've encountered Naruse while she's on patrol.

The Friend Mart Otsu Terrace store is said to be the model for the "Heiwado Friend Mart Otsu Uchidehama Store" where Akari Naruse worked part-time in the second book of the series, "Naruse wa Shinjita Michi o Iku."
You might even run into Naruse-san while she's working!
