Carved Tomikawa Buddha

Reaching a height of 30 meters and a width of 20 meters is an image of the Buddhist deity Acala and the Amitabha triad from the Kamakura Period (1185-1333) that is carved into the rock wall. Many pilgrims come to see the Amitabha Buddha as the pink mineral water flowing from its ears is said to be effective against ear-related diseases.
