Ojiyama General Sports Park

Many visitors come to this public park with a sweeping view of the forest and hills of Lake Biwa and central Otsu. Facilities include not only an obstacle course, but also a sports ground, gymnasium, and heated pool. There is also the “Shiki no Mori”, which is beloved by families, groups, and couples. It consists of a grass plaza, an observation square, and an ornamental garden made of approximately 400 tons of stone. The park’s Hatsumiyo cherry trees draw attention as well as they are the fastest to bloom within the city.
