Biwako Flower Fountain
Located offshore in Otsu Harbor, the entrance to sightseeing o n Lake Biwa.
With a width of about 440 meters and a height of about 40 meters, this is the world’s largest fountain.
During the day, the fountain offers a feeling of cooling refreshment. At night, it lights up in green, orange, and white, offering a romantic mood perfect for a date spot.

2. April 29 – May 31: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
3. June 1 – August 15: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
4. August 16 – August 31: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
5. September 1 – September 30: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
6. October 1 – November 30: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
