Ojiyama Ancient Burial Ground

The first grave mound was constructed in the second half of the fourth century, making it the city’s oldest burial ground, and has an over-all length of 60 meters. It is speculated to have been the grave of the regional chief of the time.

The first grave mound was later restored along with the second grave mound, and the site is currently preserved as a historic park.

The Ojiyama Ancient Burial Ground is a national historic site.
