Honke Chikaraken
Founded in the year 1810, for over 200 years Honke Chikaraken has served Miidera Benkei Chikara-mochi within the premises of Otsu’s Miidera Temple. Here we provide the nostalgic, historic tastes of matcha green tea and soft gyuhi mochi, made with refined Japanese sugar and Japanese-made soybean flower. Please stop by for souvenirs and as a part of your visit to Miidera temple.
