Biwako Cultural Park

Biwako Cultural Park commands a magnificent view of Lake Biwa, the Hira Mountains, and the lake’s southern alps. Not only does the park have a garden that is meticulously taken care of and a place where the family can relax, but also cultural institutions such as a library and art museum on its grounds spanning approximately 220 hectares. Visitors can participate in tea ceremonies in the Sukiya-zukuri style house in the park’s Japanese garden as well.
